APC Youth Network Commends Tinubu on NYSC Reforms

Hon. Olatund Gideon Igbasan, the Director General of the APC Youth Network West Africa, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for their approval of comprehensive reforms to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Igbasan described these reforms as a significant milestone for youth development in Nigeria. He stated that the initiatives demonstrate President Tinubu's unwavering commitment to empowering Nigerian youth through practical education, skill acquisition, and leadership development, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the APC.

The reforms aim to transform the NYSC into a skill product-focused program, better preparing graduates for the realities of today's economy while preserving the scheme's core objective of promoting national unity. Key aspects of the reforms include extending orientation camp duration, emphasizing leadership, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and financial literacy.

Igbasan also praised the introduction of a formal graduation ceremony and new uniform designs, which promote professionalism and national pride, indicating that the federal government is listening to the aspirations of young Nigerians.
