APGA Chairman Congratulates New NBA President Badejo-Okusanya

Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), congratulated Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, on her election as the first female President of the Nigerian Bar Association and the 33rd President overall.

Ezeokenwa described her emergence as historic and a landmark achievement for both the legal profession and Nigeria's democratic journey. He expressed pride in celebrating the success of women across all sectors, highlighting the importance of inclusive leadership.

Ezeokenwa referenced the theme of APGA's recent National Women Summit, which focused on advancing women's inclusion in politics and governance, advocating for electoral reforms and better data on women's political participation. He wished Mrs. Badejo-Okusanya a successful tenure, hoping her experience and commitment to justice would strengthen the Nigerian Bar Association and inspire women and girls across Nigeria and beyond.
