APM Mobilizes Support for Seyi Makinde in 2027 Elections

The Allied People’s Movement (APM) is actively galvanizing support across various political parties to ensure the success of its presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Abubakar Yusuf, the APM National Publicity Secretary, announced this initiative during discussions in Abuja, highlighting that the Oyo State governor has emerged as a symbol of the new Nigeria that citizens desire.

The APM's efforts have been bolstered by the recent reaffirmation of commitment from the Ekiti Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which has adopted Makinde as their preferred candidate while maintaining their identity within the PDP. This collaboration was publicly demonstrated when thousands gathered in Ado-Ekiti to support Makinde.

Yusuf emphasized that the APM is dedicated to winning the election, citing the failures of the current administration led by President Bola Tinubu and promoting Makinde's strong performance as Governor of Oyo State as a key factor in his appeal to voters.
