ECOWAS Opens Job Recruitment for 2026 Positions

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has launched a recruitment initiative for multiple job vacancies across its institutions, inviting qualified candidates from its member states to apply. The recruitment process is open from April 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026.

Positions are available in various sectors, including administration, finance, trade, infrastructure, health, telecommunications, legal affairs, and security. The roles will be based at ECOWAS headquarters in Abuja and other locations such as Dakar, Conakry, and Addis Ababa.

Specific positions include office aid, program assistant, accountant, legal officer, political advisor, senior management roles, and director positions. Applicants must submit a completed application form, curriculum vitae, and cover letter via email.

The organization encourages female candidates to apply and has set age limits for different roles, with a maximum age of 35 for general service roles and 45 for professional roles, while director-level positions are open to applicants up to 50 years old. ECOWAS emphasizes that the recruitment process is free of charge.
