Kaduna Pilgrims Pray for Nigeria on Arafat Day

On Arafat Day, which falls on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah in the Islamic calendar, pilgrims from Kaduna offered special prayers for Nigeria. Malam Ibrahim Musa, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Uba Sani, issued a statement encouraging pilgrims to pray for their families and the nation.

Sheikh Haliru Maraya, a member of the Special Hajj Committee of the Kaduna State Pilgrim Welfare Agency, highlighted the significance of prayer in overcoming challenges. He stated that no earthly challenge is insurmountable through constant prayer and faith in Islam.

The prayers continued until dusk, coinciding with the pilgrims' departure to Muzdalifah for further hajj rituals. Various clerics, including Sheikh Aliyu Telex and Imam Buhari Mararaban, participated in the prayers.

Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha, head of the Kaduna State Hajj Delegation Committee, expressed gratitude to Governor Uba Sani for his administrative support in facilitating a seamless hajj operation. The Kaduna State Pilgrim Welfare Agency has been recognized as a benchmark for hajj management in Nigeria.
