Archbishop Prophecies Tinubu's 2027 Election Victory

Archbishop Chivir Chianson, Secretary-General of the Charismatic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), stated that God revealed to the bishops that President Bola Tinubu would win the 2027 presidential election. Chianson made this declaration during an interview on Arise Television on Saturday, asserting that the bishops are confident in this prophetic message.

He indicated that Tinubu would not only win but would also perform better in his second term. This announcement follows the CBCN's formal endorsement of Tinubu for re-election during their 2026 synod, announced by President-General Archbishop Leonard Bature Kawas.

Kawas praised Tinubu for his inclusive appointments and support for Christian governors, despite the controversies surrounding his Muslim-Muslim ticket in the 2023 election. He also commended First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for her Christian faith.

The bishops pledged continued support for Tinubu through prayers and advocacy for policies beneficial to Nigeria's development, stating their endorsement would persist into the 2027 election.
