Armored Vehicles Enhance Security in Sabon Birni

Alhaji Hashimu Dantudu, the Chairman of Sabon Birni Local Government Area, announced that the deployment of armored vehicles by the Sokoto State Government has significantly enhanced security and reduced bandit attacks in the region. This statement was made during a condolence visit at Tsamaye Village by a state government delegation led by Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, following the death of the Sabon Birni APC Chairman, Alhaji Amadu Malale.

Dantudu reported a tremendous decrease in attack cases since the armored vehicles were introduced, commending Governor Ahmed Aliyu for this initiative, which he described as a major boost to security operations. He expressed optimism that ongoing efforts by the state government and security agencies would ultimately eradicate banditry.

The state government has recently procured 62 armored vehicles and 2,000 motorcycles to strengthen security operations against bandits and other criminal elements in Sokoto State, where Sabon Birni has been significantly affected by banditry.
