The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) graduated the 2026 Leadership Cohort from the Critical Thinking and Adaptive Leadership Course at its headquarters in Abuja. The event, held over five days, was addressed by Major General Arnold Okoro, the Centre’s Executive Director Consult, who represented the Director-General.
The course aimed to enhance human capital development and equip leaders with innovative problem-solving skills necessary for a complex global environment. Okoro commended the sponsoring organizations and facilitators for their contributions.
He urged graduates to act as transformational ambassadors by applying their knowledge and ethical conduct to improve outcomes in their institutions. Mrs Salamatu Yahaya, wife of former Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, delivered a reflection address outlining the curriculum's core pillars, including goal setting and emotional intelligence.
She stressed the connection between effective leadership and national development. The NARC reaffirmed its commitment to conducting research and providing policy support for national defense and security.
