Arsenal Fans Club Nigeria Launches in Abuja This Weekend

Arsenal Fans Club Nigeria is set to be officially unveiled in Abuja this weekend, aiming to enhance the Nigerian fan base of Arsenal Football Club, the current Premier League champions. A press release issued on Monday confirmed that all arrangements for the launch have been finalized.

The club's National President, Mr Charles Ojugbana, stated that the organization draws inspiration from Arsenal players of Nigerian descent, including Kanu Nwankwo, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, and Eberechi Eze. The unveiling event is expected to attract prominent figures such as Dr Bukola Saraki, HRH Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Senator Dino Melaye, and Arsenal legend Kanu Nwankwo.

The governance structure of Arsenal Fans Club Nigeria includes a Board of Trustees, a National Executive Committee (NEC), and a General Assembly of members, which is the highest decision-making body. The club also maintains a digital membership database for effective management.

Additionally, the club plans to create awareness for children with Down syndrome, coinciding with World Down Syndrome Day in March 2027.
