According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Arsenal has initiated discussions regarding a potential deal as manager Mikel Arteta seeks to enhance his attacking options. However, Arsenal is unwilling to make what they consider an excessive financial commitment and have no intention of matching Osimhen's current salary of over €20 million annually at Galatasaray.

This wage demand poses a significant obstacle to the transfer. Osimhen must now decide whether to compromise on his salary for a move to England or stay with Galatasaray, where he has been a key player.
