FOOG Women Support Group Empowers 250 in Delta State

The FOOG Women Support Group held an empowerment program in Okpe Hall, Orerokpe, Delta State, where over 250 men and women were empowered as part of efforts to mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon.

Sheriff Oborevwori, in anticipation of the 2027 general election. The event, themed ‘Men/Women Empowerment Programme in Line with the Renewed Hope for MORE Initiative’, aimed to promote President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda.

Chief (Mrs.) Esther Okotie-Eboh, Director-General of FOOG, described the gathering as a platform for continuity, stability, and development, urging support for the re-election of both leaders. She noted the visible achievements of their administrations and called for responsible mobilization among supporters.

Chief Hon. (Mrs.) Dora Sakpaide, the Delta Central senatorial district Coordinator, echoed these sentiments, praising the transformative impact of Governor Oborevwori’s infrastructure development initiatives.
