ASUU Threatens Strike Over Unpaid Lecturer Salaries

Christian Opata, the Nsukka zonal coordinator of ASUU, disclosed this during a press conference held on Tuesday at the university campus in Enugu. He stated that ESUT lecturers are currently among the lowest paid in public universities across the country, which adversely affects staff morale and the institution's ability to attract and retain qualified academics.
