Sanwo-Olu Commits to Campaign for Tinubu Nationwide

At an interfaith prayer session organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu committed to campaigning for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of Tinubu's victory for both Lagos State and Nigeria, stating he would actively participate in the presidential campaign and ensure the party's candidates receive adequate support.

The prayer session was a spiritual launch for the APC's mobilization efforts for the 2027 elections, where party leaders sought unity and divine guidance. Sanwo-Olu expressed confidence in the APC's prospects in Lagos, particularly for his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, who is vying to succeed him as governor.

He urged party members to complement their faith with effective mobilization efforts. Hamzat acknowledged the prayers from various religious leaders and expressed hope for divine intervention in the elections.
