APC Holds Inter-Faith Prayer Ahead of 2027 Elections

On a warm Tuesday, thousands of members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gathered at Onikan Stadium in Lagos for an inter-faith prayer event, aimed at seeking divine guidance ahead of the 2027 general elections. The event featured a diverse representation of Christians, Muslims, and traditional worshippers, showcasing the APC's appeal across various religious groups.

Key attendees included Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, APC governorship candidate Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, state party chairman Cornelius Ojelabi, and former Minister Senator Musiliu Obanikoro. The prayer session was described as the formal commencement of the party's electoral journey, with Governor Sanwo-Olu stating, “We commit our journey and our candidates into the hands of God.” He expressed optimism about the party's preparations and stakeholder engagement, asserting that these efforts would lead to electoral victory.
