Momodu Defends Atiku Against Obi-Kwankwaso Alliance Critique

On Tuesday, Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), dismissed the alliance between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, defending former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's position in the presidential race. He stated that Abubakar, with his extensive political career, should not be bullied into stepping down for Obi, who was his running mate in the 2019 elections.

Momodu questioned the rationale behind calls for Abubakar to withdraw from the race, emphasizing that Nigeria requires qualified individuals capable of leading the country. He warned against elevating any single politician to a savior status, asserting that such suggestions are disrespectful to Abubakar's political legitimacy and experience.
