Amaechi Declares Atiku Unelectable, Vows to Stay in Race

Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport and ex-Governor of Rivers State, firmly stated during a live television interview on Trust TV that Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President and candidate of the People's Democratic Party, is unelectable and cannot win the upcoming general election. Amaechi emphasized his determination to remain in the presidential race and will not step down ahead of the party primaries.

He analyzed Atiku's political track record, arguing that his history of securing the party ticket has consistently resulted in failure to replicate success in national polls. Amaechi pointed out that Atiku has a long history of pursuing the presidency since 1992, winning primaries but losing elections.

He maintained that the current political realities require a candidate who can command votes across geopolitical zones, rather than someone who merely excels in winning delegate votes during party conventions.
