Mobalufon Ruling Houses Warn Against External Interference in Succession Process

The ruling houses of Mobalufon community, represented by Dr. Kunle Taiwo, Oludip Olumurende Demuren, and Olumukaiyilumka, have issued a strong warning on January 26, 2026, against unwarranted external interference in the succession process of the Moguniseja stool.

They reaffirm their support for Omoba Oyebowal Ilumoka Moguniseja as the designated ruler and stress the importance of preserving the indigenous customs and autonomy of the Mobalufon community. The ruling houses insist that the succession matter must strictly adhere to established customs and the rotational system of governance.

They emphasize the significance of the Moguniseja stool as an international traditional institution and urge external parties to refrain from meddling in the cultural affairs of the community.
