Babcock University Launches Alumni Connect Program

Babcock University, located in Ilisan Remo, Ogun State, is actively seeking support from its alumni to promote institutional growth through the newly unveiled Alumni Connect program. This initiative, disclosed on a Monday, aims to engage around 300 members from the 2025-2026 postgraduate graduating class, also referred to as the Nova class.

Dr. Jonathan Dangana, the Vice President of Alumni Connect and Philanthropy, emphasized the importance of alumni contributions, which are not solely financial but also include mentorship, professional guidance, and volunteer services. He noted that the university currently has 35,000 active alumni and is considering incentives to encourage long-term relationships with the institution.

The program aims to empower graduates and strengthen the alumni network, which is seen as a strategic asset for the university's growth. Additionally, Dr. Tutu Habib highlighted the program's role in providing constructive feedback and improving services for alumni, while Dr. Mondai Ubani shared personal experiences of overcoming challenges during his academic journey at the university.
