Bago Lauds Igbokwe as New COFFHA President in Nigeria

Mohammed Umar Bago, the Governor of Niger State, praised Augustina Igbokwe following her installation as the new President of COFFHA. He commended the organization for its humanitarian services and described Igbokwe as a genuine and honest leader.

During her acceptance speech, Igbokwe expressed gratitude and shared her commitment to humanitarian service, recalling her experiences with underprivileged children. She announced plans for a skill acquisition center aimed at training 350 individuals, supported by a N300 million fundraising campaign.

Uche Ekwunife, a senator, emphasized the importance of investing in human capital for national development, while Rita Maduagwu highlighted the significance of women's leadership. The event marked a transition in leadership for COFFHA, which has been active for 33 years, focusing on uplifting vulnerable members of society through various health and empowerment programs.
