Bala Mohammed Endorses Seyi Makinde for 2027 Presidency

On Friday, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed publicly endorsed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as the presidential candidate for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the upcoming 2027 elections. During a visit to Bauchi, where he hosted Makinde, Mohammed emphasized the necessity of developing the party's capacity to provide high-quality leadership and establish itself as a credible force for national development.

He expressed confidence in Makinde's ability to work tirelessly as a presidential candidate and support the party's leadership. Mohammed noted that the APM is purposefully positioning itself to offer viable solutions to Nigeria's challenges and is emerging as the leading opposition party.

He also praised Oyo State's infrastructure initiatives and highlighted the importance of collaboration among sub-national leaders to improve governance. Makinde, in his remarks, acknowledged the warm reception from the people of Bauchi and discussed various national issues, including insecurity and the future of democracy in Nigeria.
