INEC Staff Kidnapped by Gunmen in Kogi State

Unidentified gunmen kidnapped a female INEC staff member traveling from Abuja to Anambra along Aloma Road in Kogi State. The staff member, along with others including the driver and his wife, were abducted while transporting election materials for the upcoming governorship election.

The assailants fired shots at the vehicle, causing damage, and then proceeded to abduct the occupants. Efforts to reach the Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer have been unsuccessful.
