Wike's Aide Olayinka Calls for Action on Northern Insecurity

Olayinka, serving as an aide to Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has expressed significant concern regarding the insecurity in Northern Nigeria. He attributes this insecurity to the abandonment of children, sharing a post on social media that included a photo of abandoned children begging for food and money.

Olayinka emphasized that these children, victims of terrorist and bandit attacks, are left roaming the streets hungry, uneducated, and forgotten. He pointed out that there is no justification for a man to neglect his responsibilities towards his wife and children, highlighting the broader societal issues stemming from the current state of insecurity in the North.
