Bauchi APC Welcomes 117,000 New Members

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State has officially announced the induction of around 117,000 new members, as stated in a release signed by State Chairman Mohammed Hassan. The lists of new members were presented at a significant gathering by APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Hon. Farouk Mustapha, along with Hon. Shittu Zaki, a former political adviser to Governor Bala Mohammed, and Hassana Arkila.

Hassan noted that ongoing registrations and defections have increased the total membership to over 150,000. Among the new members are a former chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and approximately 20 former local government area chairmen.

Additionally, a former member of the House of Representatives has joined, bringing with them supporters previously associated with the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The new members also include former office holders, political organizers, community leaders, women, youth, and grassroots supporters from across Bauchi State.

The statement from the APC described this movement as evidence of the party's growth beyond individual personalities and established political factions.
