Bauchi Governor Seeks Partnership with CAC for Business Ease

On Thursday, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state sought to strengthen collaboration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to improve the ease of doing business in Bauchi, aiming for economic diversification. This appeal was made during the opening ceremony of the 2026 Annual Corporate Affairs Commission Management Retreat, held at the Ahmadu Bello International Conference Center (ICC) in Bauchi.

Governor Bala emphasized that a partnership between the Bauchi state government and the CAC would significantly benefit business operators, especially Small and Medium Enterprises. He recognized the CAC as a vital instrument for the nation’s economy and commended the current Registrar-General, Husaini Ishaq Magaji, for the achievements in digital transformation.

The governor assured the CAC of the state government's readiness to support its efforts for the economic benefit of Bauchi and its residents. Husaini Ishaq Magaji noted that the annual management retreat aims to enhance the operational capacity of participants for effective service delivery.
