Bauchi Governor Lauds CAC's AI Initiative with Google

During the opening of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Management Annual Retreat at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Conference Centre in Bauchi, Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed commended the CAC for its digital transformation and the upcoming integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He described this initiative as a revolutionary step for Nigeria’s economic architecture and the ease of doing business.

CAC Registrar-General Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN) announced a partnership with Google and other tech partners to deploy AI across registration processes, featuring multilingual support in English, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, and Pidgin. The AI-driven system aims to complete business registrations within minutes, detect manual errors and fraudulent activities, and provide live compliance support.

Governor Mohammed emphasized the importance of an efficient corporate registry for attracting investments and urged the CAC to ensure the technology is inclusive and accessible. The retreat gathered over 400 CAC members, with Senator Ibrahim Ida expressing gratitude for the Bauchi State Government's hospitality.
