Bayelsa State Launches Commercial Flights with State-Owned Aircraft

Bayelsa state inaugurated commercial flights with its state-owned aircraft, marking a historic moment as two new aircraft were acquired. The maiden flight from Yenagoa to Abuja was joined by dignitaries including Governor Douye Diri and Minister Heineken Lokpobiri.

The initiative aims to boost economic development and improve transportation within Bayelsa. The state-owned airline, named Air Bayelsa, will operate as a pioneer in the region under the management of aviation expert Henri Ogbuku.
