BBNaija Star Cross Okonkwo Targeted by Beggar in Lekki

In a recent incident, former Big Brother Naija housemate Cross Okonkwo reported that a street beggar stole the windscreen moulding from his car while he was stuck in traffic in Ikate, Lekki. Cross shared the details through a series of videos on Instagram, explaining that he did not turn away the beggars who approached his window.

However, one of them quickly ripped the weatherstripping from around the windscreen and fled. Cross attempted to chase the thief but was unable to catch him.

He expressed his frustration towards the authorities, questioning why such individuals are allowed on the streets. After the theft, Cross sought assistance from nearby youths and Agberos, who advised him to leave his contact information in case the suspect was spotted again.

He later saw the man across the road, but the individual recognized him and ran away. This incident is part of a growing concern about safety in Lekki, as similar thefts have been reported in the area.
