Benue Governor Alia Supports New Military Formations

On Tuesday, Governor Alia of Benue State met with the Army Headquarters Implementation Committee at the Old Banquet Hall, Government House, Makurdi, where he expressed his support for the establishment of new military formations in the state. He described this initiative as a significant milestone aimed at strengthening security across Benue State.

Governor Alia conveyed his confidence that the new military formations would enhance military operations, improve public safety, and restore confidence among residents. He assured the delegation that the Benue State Government would provide land for all approved military formations and units, as well as the necessary logistics to facilitate the smooth take-off of the new division.
