Benue Government Seals Hospital in Otukpo Over Double-Breast Removal Incident

The Benue State government has shut down St. John's Hospital in Otukpo following reports of medical malpractice, including a patient undergoing a double-breast removal without proper clinical procedures.

Dr. Paul Ogwuch of the Health Ministry confirmed the closure, citing violations of medical standards.

A team led by Dr. Agbadu Joshua and Dr.

Alex Iorbo found the hospital operating in substandard and unsafe conditions. The government is intensifying efforts to combat unethical medical practices in the state.
