Benue State to Launch 13 Digital Learning Centres

Benue State is set to establish 13 digital learning centres (DLC) in selected schools to improve access to technology-driven education. Grace Adagba, the Executive Chairman of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), disclosed this plan on Tuesday during a roundtable organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) in Abuja.

The initiative is part of the state's efforts to create a technology-enabled learning environment that will enhance teaching and learning quality. Adagba emphasized that this initiative aligns with Governor Hyacinth Alia's digital transformation agenda for the education sector.

She reaffirmed SUBEB's commitment to adopting digital innovations and integrating technology into classrooms to equip pupils with the necessary skills to compete in a rapidly evolving digital world. The state is prepared to deploy relevant digital resources to strengthen teaching and learning in public schools.
