NTAC Debriefs Volunteers, Strengthens South-South Ties

The Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) held a debriefing exercise for 15 volunteers who recently completed a two-year technical assistance assignment in Uganda. The event took place at NTAC headquarters in Abuja, where Rt Hon Yusuf Buba Yakub, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of NTAC, commended the volunteers for their significant contributions in teaching, research, and community development at two Ugandan universities.

The debriefing is an integral part of NTAC's operational process, allowing returning volunteers to share experiences, celebrate achievements, identify challenges, and provide recommendations for future deployments. Yakub expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has enabled NTAC to enhance Nigeria's soft power diplomacy.

The NTAC has been operational since 1987, deploying over 10,000 highly skilled professionals to 40 partner countries, promoting goodwill and sustainable development.
