Blord Released from Kuje Prison After Meeting Bail Terms

Linu William Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, was released from Kuje Prison after fulfilling bail conditions on April 17, 2026. His detention began on April 1, 2026, following his arraignment at the Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and forgery.

The allegations involved using the name and image of social media activist Martin Vincent Ots, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), without consent to promote business ventures, including the launch of a gadget app in Onitsha and claims related to flight tickets. Blord pleaded not guilty to the charges.

His release was supported by various advocates, including human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore. Following his release, social media reactions celebrated his return, with videos showing him appearing relaxed and stepping into a new vehicle.

Although released on bail, Blord's legal battles are ongoing.
