BOI Donates 30-Room Medical Hostel to NAUTH in Nnewi

The Bank of Industry (BOI) formally handed over a newly built 30-room medical student hostel block to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) in Nnewi, Anambra State. The event was attended by Prof. Stanlei Anyaehie, Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and Dr. Olasupo Olusi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOI.

Dr. Olusi emphasized that the project is part of BOI's corporate social responsibility and reflects a strong collaboration among university leadership and contractors. The hostel aims to provide a secure and dignified living environment for medical trainees, facilitating their education and training.

It is designed to address the accommodation needs of students who undergo rigorous medical training, which often requires long hours and proximity to healthcare facilities. The project aligns with national priorities to improve access to healthcare education and living conditions for students, ultimately benefiting community healthcare delivery.
