PDP and ADC Logos Missing on Borno Local Government Election Ballot Papers

In the Borno Local Government election, the logos of the PDP and ADC were absent from the ballot papers, causing concern and resulting in low voter turnout. The PDP spokesperson in Borno State, Amo Adziba, revealed that the party withdrew from the election due to a lack of trust in the electoral commission and the high cost of nomination forms.

The Borno State Independent Electoral Commission chairman, Tahir Shettima, defended the commission's actions, stating that they consulted stakeholders and set nomination form prices based on current economic conditions. Despite the missing logos, six other parties participated in the election.
