Borno Governor Zulum Satisfied with Local Government Election Process

Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum cast his vote in the local government chairmanship and councillorship elections in Mafa, Borno State. He expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise, voter turnout, and the peaceful and orderly process.

The governor described the poll as a test run for future elections, expressing optimism for subsequent contests. Zulum was accompanied by members of the Borno State House of Assembly and other government officials.

The elections involved six political parties across 27 local government areas and 312 wards in Borno State.
