Tinubu Launches Key Road Projects in Borno State

On a recent weekend, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially launched the construction of two significant road projects in Borno State: the Dikwa–Gamboru Ngala road, measuring 49.55 kilometers, and the Bama–Banki road, spanning 49.15 kilometers. These projects are described as strategic highways critical for economic growth in the region and for integrating national security.

The roads are expected to serve as economic lifelines for Northeast Nigeria, facilitating cross-border trade and the movement of agricultural products while strengthening security operations in the area. The groundbreaking ceremony took place along the Maiduguri-Gamboru Ngala road, with Vice President Kashim Shettima and Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum in attendance.

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of infrastructure development and expressed gratitude for the support from the federal government and Borno State, highlighting the successful partnership that made these projects possible.
