BPP and OHCSF Launch Committee for 2026 Retreat

The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) and the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) formally inaugurated a joint committee on July 9, 2026, to organize the Federal Permanent Secretaries Retreat, which will take place from July 9 to July 12, 2026. This event aims to strengthen procurement capacity at the highest levels of the federal civil service.

Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, Director General of BPP, praised Mr.

Didi Esther Watson Jack, Head of Service, for transforming leadership priorities in procurement, which is crucial for effective public service delivery. Dr.

Adedokun emphasized the significant role of permanent secretaries in managing government expenditure through procurement processes. The retreat will provide a platform to identify challenges and solutions in procurement, aligning with the government's policies.

Dr. Danjuma Usman Kalba, Permanent Secretary of the Common Service Office, assured that the committee would work tirelessly to meet the expectations of the permanent secretaries and the Nigerian people.
