AGF Reveals Conviction of IPOB Leader Simon Ekpa by Finnish Court

Attorney General of the Federation, Fagbemi, disclosed the conviction of Simon Ekpa, a leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, by a Finnish court on terrorism-related charges. The Nigerian government commended the Finnish authorities for their support in combating insecurity and hinted at future collaborations.

AGF Fagbemi stated that appropriate actions would be taken upon receiving the court's judgment. Ekpa's conviction is seen as a positive step in addressing security challenges in Nigeria, particularly in the South East region.
