Kaduna Hosts Launch of Gani Fawehinmi Mentorship Book

Kaduna is set to host a major event featuring democracy veterans, civil rights activists, and political leaders for the public presentation of "Gani Fawehinmi and Uba Sani: A Tale of Mentor and Mentee," authored by Basirat Fawehinmi-Biobaku, the daughter of the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN. The launch, scheduled for Saturday, aims to celebrate the bond between Gani Fawehinmi, a prominent human rights advocate, and Uba Sani, who is now the Governor of Kaduna State and was once a protégé of Fawehinmi.

Uba Sani acknowledged the significant influence Fawehinmi had on his life and public service. The event is expected to attract notable figures and is described as one of the most significant democracy-themed gatherings in recent years, emphasizing mentorship, courage, and the historical struggle for justice in Nigeria.
