DSS Interrogates Influencer VeryDarkMan Over Video Leak

VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martin Vincent Ots, was interrogated by the Department of State Services (DSS) following a leaked video related to an ongoing coup trial in Nigeria. The investigation was ordered by Justice Joyc Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja, who demanded an investigation into the video that had been made public.

The case is linked to accusations against several individuals attempting to overthrow President Bola Tinubu's government, with court proceedings scheduled for June 23 and 24, 2026. During the interrogation, which lasted several hours, VeryDarkMan maintained his innocence regarding the leak, explaining that he did not create the video and that his phone, a Samsung, automatically saves incoming media files.

He was released early in the morning after spending hours at the DSS office.
