Nigeria Police Suspend Tinted Glass Permit Enforcement Amid Court Order

The Nigeria Police Force has halted the nationwide enforcement of tinted glass permits due to an interim court order issued on December 15, 2025. The suspension is in response to concerns about public safety and national security.

The enforcement is set to resume on January 2, 2026, pending further court proceedings. Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, reaffirmed the force's commitment to upholding the rule of law and protecting lives and properties.
