Court Halts Police Enforcement of Tinted Glass Permit in Nigeria

The court, led by Justice Joe Egwu, has issued an injunction restraining the Nigeria Police Force from enforcing the tinted glass permit policy. This order came after a citizen named Israel Joe, represented by lawyer Kunle Edun, filed a lawsuit in Delta State.

The police had suspended the policy earlier, but the court's injunction now prevents them from harassing, arresting, detaining, or extorting citizens pending further legal proceedings.
