Hundreds from PDP, ADC Join APC in Kabba-Bunu

Hundreds of members and leaders from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kabba-Bunu local government area have officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a decamping ceremony. The defectors primarily came from Olle Oke Offin Ward.

Hon. Michael Olubiyo, a former leader, attributed his decision to join the APC to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's leadership style and commended State Security Adviser, retired Commander Jerry Omodara, for his contributions to community development. Another defector, Hon. Babatunde Yusuf, criticized greedy leaders within the PDP for hindering the party's growth, stating that his principal, Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji, influenced his decision to switch parties.

Commander Omodara expressed satisfaction with the APC's progress under the current administration, noting the lack of meaningful opposition in the state. APC chairman of Ollie/Oke Offin Ward, Leke Amupitan, welcomed the new members and emphasized the party's openness to further joiners.
