PDP Dissolves Party Structures in 5 States at National Convention

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved its party structures in Imo, Abia, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, and Rivers states during a national convention in Ibadan. Governor Seyi Makinde spearheaded the decision, which was confirmed by delegates and follows the ratification by the executive committee.

The move is part of the party's preparations for the 2024 and 2025 elections, ensuring adherence to electoral laws and party guidelines. The dissolution was explained as necessary for the party's future success.

Daniel Obiechina Okechukwu supported the motion during the convention.
