Sulaiman Aledeh Resigns as Edo Broadcasting Service MD

Sulaiman Aledeh has officially resigned from his position as Managing Director of Edo Broadcasting Service, with the resignation taking effect on May 30, 2026. In a formal letter addressed to Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, Aledeh announced his decision to resign in order to devote full attention to the next phase of his professional journey as a media practitioner and to pursue endeavors as a private citizen.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Okpebholo for the opportunity to serve, describing it as a privilege to lead the historic broadcasting institution. Aledeh thanked the people of Edo State, both at home and in the diaspora, for their support throughout his tenure.

He also commended the management and staff of the broadcasting service for their dedication and commitment to excellence, emphasizing their collective efforts in contributing to the growth and transformation of the institution. A copy of the resignation letter was sent to the Secretary to the State Government of Edo State, but no official statement regarding the resignation has been issued by the Edo State Government at this time.
