Edo Governor Okpebholo Appoints New Acting MD for EBS

On Monday, Edo State Governor Mondai Okpebholo announced the removal of Suleiman Aledeh from his role as Managing Director of the Edo Broadcast Service. In his place, Festu Alenkhe, the state chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, has been appointed as the acting Managing Director.

This decision is part of the governor's ongoing administrative adjustments aimed at optimizing resource management and strengthening institutional capacity across critical sectors of the state's administration. Umar Musa Ikhilor, the former Managing Director, has been redeployed to serve as the pioneer Director General of the Edo State Orientation Agency, effective immediately.

The governor acknowledged Aledeh's professional expertise and contributions to the broadcast sector during his tenure, expressing wishes for success in Alenkhe's new role as acting director.
