Tinubu Meets 31 APC Governors Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu convened a closed-door meeting with 31 governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting, organized by the Progressives Governors Forum, began shortly before 4:00 PM, and the agenda was not disclosed at the time of reporting.

The governors had previously gathered for a session of the National Economic Council, presided over by the Vice President, before transitioning to the meeting with the President.
