Tinubu, Shettima to Head APC 2027 Campaign Council

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima have been appointed as chairman and vice chairman, respectively, of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 elections, as announced on Saturday morning. The council will also include Party Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as a vice chairman, and former Zamfara State governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari will serve as the director-general.

Governor Hope Uzodimma is appointed as the secretary of the campaign council. Additional roles include APC National Secretary Senator Ajibola Bashiru and Hadiza Bala-Usman as deputy and assistant secretaries.

The campaign council will be supported by advisers such as Chief Bisi Akande and Chief Segun Osoba. Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abass, and Governor Mai Mala Buni will serve as deputy director-generals, while James Abiodun Faleke returns as deputy director-general for election planning.

The council will also feature various zonal directors and a legal directorate led by Muiz Adeyemi Banire.
