Nigerian Military Hunts Two Soldiers Over Foiled Coup Plot

Two soldiers, Major J.M. Ganak and Captain G.

Binuga, are currently on the run after their roles in a failed coup plot to overthrow the Nigerian government led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu were foiled. The soldiers, identified by their service numbers, have disappeared from their respective stations in Kaduna and Niger State.

The military has detained 16 personnel in connection with the coup plot and is intensifying its investigation. Brigadier General Tukur Gusau confirmed ongoing internal investigations to ensure discipline and professionalism within the ranks.
