Frank Onyeka Joins Coventry City from Brentford Permanently

Frank Onyeka has completed a permanent transfer from Brentford to Coventry City, following a successful loan spell that contributed to Coventry's promotion to the Premier League. Phil Gile, Brentford's director of football, explained that Onyeka's lack of regular playing time influenced the decision to allow his departure.

Gile commended Onyeka's professionalism and commitment during his five-year tenure at Brentford, where he made 87 appearances, including 75 in the Premier League. Despite his contributions, Onyeka struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter.

The move to Coventry, which includes an obligation for a return to the top flight, is seen as an opportunity for Onyeka to become a regular Premier League starter. He played a pivotal role in Coventry's Championship triumph, making 14 appearances and scoring once.

This transfer marks the end of his successful spell in West London, offering him a chance to play regularly in the Premier League next season.
